It spread through phishing sites, malicious downloads, and worm like propagation across shared storage, and it harvested login data for game accounts and associated payment methods. Although gaming theft seems minor, stolen accounts and virtual goods fed a durable criminal market, and the family's collection routines also swept up general credentials.
