Description
Parite is a family of polymorphic file infecting viruses that targets computers running Windows. It infects executable and screensaver files on the local file system and on writable network shares, and infected executables go on to infect other files that the machines they reach can access. Because infections spread through shared network resources, cleanup requires checking every writable share that an infected machine could touch.
